After the prizes, General Manager Mr. Wang Fenghua took the floor for the closing address:
1.Pass the torch. “The first Ouhai Cup was sketched on a lopsided court in the old Huahua factory. Thirty editions later, veterans like Qi Xi are still playing. As MacArthur said, ‘Old soldiers never die; they just fade away.’ May the passion, energy, and grit born on this court live on in our daily work.”
2.Evolve and innovate. “Twenty years ago every game rang with drums and deafening cheers; that fire has dimmed. Organizers must study Zhejiang BA and Guizhou’s Village BA to pull crowds back, and every participant should follow Division-II’s Mr. Xiao Wei—on his feet, cheering, every game. At thirty, the Cup must innovate while it endures. Thank you, players, for seven months of sacrifice, and thank you, staff, for staging this feast.”

The evening ended with an exhibition clash between Manager Lai Zhen’s Manager All-Stars and Shao Guodong’s Player All-Stars. The lead seesawed until an overtime thriller handed Lai’s squad an 82-78 victory.
