The 30th "Ouhai Cup" Basketball Tournament Opens Grandly

At 7:30 p.m. on May 27, 2025, the 30th "Ouhai Cup" Basketball Tournament of Ouhai Optical Co., Ltd. was grandly inaugurated at the company's basketball court. Senior company leaders and heads of various departments gathered at the scene to witness this exciting moment. The guests of honor at the opening ceremony included Mr. Wang Fenghua, the General Manager; Mr. Li Jianping, the Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Yao Yonghe, the VP of Business Division One; Mr. Chen Binhui, the VP of Central Logistics; Mr. Qi Fei, the VP of Business Division Five; Mr. Li Lei, the VP of Business Division Three; and Mr. Zhang Rui, the VP of the Weitong Business Division, among others.

This year's tournament attracted 14 teams, comprising 8 men's teams and 6 women's teams. The men's teams included the Technology Center United Team, Business Division Five United Team, Business Division Four United Team, Business Division Three United Team, Business Division Two United Team, Business Division One United Team, Central Logistics United Team, and the Office United Team. The women's teams consistd of the Business Division Five Women's United Team, Business Division Four Women's United Team, Business Division Three Women's United Team, Division One and Two Women's United Team, Logistics and Office Women's United Team, and the Technology Center Women's United Team.

At the opening ceremony, the host successively introduced the guests of honor and the participating teams. Subsequently, Mr. Wang Fenghua, the General Manager, delivered an enthusiastic opening address. He expressed high expectations for this tournament and future work from three aspects:First, "Start with the end in mind." Although sports competitions emphasize "friendship first, competition second," no one wants to lose once they step onto the court. The ultimate goal of the competition is to achieve good results and see who can win the championship. Anything can happen on the court, and everyone has a chance. Those who do not strive will fall behind, and those who do not fight will be eliminated. Victory always belongs to the fighters. The same applies to business competition. The purpose of the company's business division system reform implemented in September 2024 was to create a competitive culture within the enterprise. Each business division VP is expected to lead their team to compete with other divisions around the "sustainable growth strategy."Second, "Be both politically conscious and professionally competent." Although the goal of a basketball game is to score, it is difficult to score on a highly competitive court without professional skills. The same applies to the internal operations of the enterprise. Each business division VP should strengthen the professional skills training of T6 members, cultivate them into well-trained individuals who are both politically conscious and professionally competent, and foster a culture of professionalism within the team.Third, "Teamwork." For the first time in this tournament, teams are grouped by business divisions for competition. Each basketball player has a clear role, such as center, power forward, small forward, shooting guard, and point guard. During the game, only when players perform their respective duties and work together can they win. The same applies to the T6 teams of each business division. Division of labor is to let professionals do professional jobs. Only by working together around a common goal can they achieve victory and meet customer needs.

At the end of his speech, General Manager Mr. Wang Fenghua expressed his gratitude to the organizing committee members who had worked hard to prepare for this tournament and extended his best wishes for the successful conclusion of this year's "Ouhai Cup" basketball tournament.

After the opening ceremony,the much-anticipated opening match began immediately,with the Technology Center United Team facing off against the Business Division Five United Team.Mr.Wang Fenghua,the General Manager,kicked off the first game of the tournament.After 40 minutes of intense competition,the Technology Center United Team defeated the Business Division Five United Team with a score of 85 to 69,securing a successful start and opening the curtain for this exciting basketball tournament.
